Snow Shoeing

Last year I taught Emma to snow shoe and she could NOT wait to get them on again this year! She was knee deep in the snow this weekend! She walked all over the neighborhood with our black lab Baker. He loves it as much as she does!

I can tell she has my love of the outdoors! Now I just need to teach her to Cross Country Ski! That is up for this week when we get some of our snow back!!

Merry Christmas

Doug and I want to say THANK YOU so much for listening to our show over the last four years! We love living here. We feel so lucky to work at 95.9 KISS FM! It is the best radio station we have ever worked at!! We have the best boss in the world (in case you didn't know our boss is Dayton Kane!) He is so nice to us and lets us be who we are. You have no idea how rare that is in radio!!

Have a wonderful Christmas with your family and keep on listening!

Presidential HOT GUY!

Holy cats! Did you see the pecks on this guy? Who knew we were getting such a hottie for a president. He comes with some serious security too!

I wonder how someone got this photo with all of those Secret Service guys???

Is this what happens when you work out every day?

WOW WOW!

Patience...

So I love that my mom is here for Christmas. For the simple fact that she has more patience than I could ever have! She sat all day yesterday sewing with Emma. They made clothes for her dolls, they made purses. It was amazing to watch! My mom tried to teach me all of these great things...but lets just say that did NOT work! If I could have been more patient as a kid I could have learned so much from her. How to play the piano, how to sew, knit, and the most important of all...COOK! Egads! So glad she can pass it to Emma!

It is fun to see...

Burger King Body Spray

OMG! This is the press photo for the new Burger King body spray. It is $3.99 and it smells like a whopper! Would you buy it?

The Call

So my parents were on their way to my brothers house in St. Paul from Georgia. They freaked in Chicago because they were expecting a foot of snow (which they did end up getting!) I told them not to stay in Chicago...just head north to our house stay the night and then when the roads are clear they can head to Rick's house (my brother!)

My brother freaked! He is so weird....I guess he just wanted them to hunker down in Chicago. They would have been stuck for two days!

They are here and so happy! I think it is nicer to stay at someones house than stuck in a hotel!

The only thing is we need to outfit them for the weather. My dad is wearing a leather coat and my mom only has a fleece sweatshirt...OMG! They are going to freeze!
